Fatal 4 way tag team match - (Pre-Show) 

Winner - Tyson Kidd and Cesaro

 

Andre "The Gaint" memorial 30 man battle royal - (Pre-Show)

Winner - The Bigg Show

7 man ladder match - WWE Intercontinental Championship - (Main Event)

Winner - Daniel Bryan (YES...YES....YES!!!)

This match was the first match shown during the live telecast of Wrestlemania 31. Daniel Bryan entered the ring as the favourite superstar to win. The match kicked off with some high flying dives by almost all superstars taking turns to dive from the ring on those standing out side to catch them. Dean ambrose did one high flying dive from top of the ladder outside the ring on a few standing below. He also suffered an injury when he was thrown outside from the ring by luke harper on the ladders lying on the ground. Dolp Ziggler impressed every one with his speed of climbing the ladder, He did it quite a few times to amuse the crowd. With seven superstars in one ring with ladders there was not much to be done. Few superstars only came to the ring to be beaten and thrown out. Towards the end Daniel Brayan and Dolp Ziggler fight it out on the top of the ladders with continuous head buds resulting in fall of Ziggler from the ladder and Daniel Bryan wining the Intercontinental Championship. Over all match pace was good. But it could have been more interesting had there been lesser superstars.Any how, this match left crowd chanting YES...YESS, Which was enough to set the stage, so I would rate the match ***/5.

Randy Orton vs Seth Rollins

Winner - Randy Orton

After the high flying drama of 7 man ladder match it was time for the viper to strike. Seth rollins was no match to the Randy Orton's experience and occasionally took upper hand in the match with the help of J&J security(They only come to get RKOed). Both the super stars kicked each other's finishing moves towards the end of the match. Seth rollins was all set to deliver his finishing move second time to Randy orton(thanks to J&J security's interference) and then came the most brilliant RKO you would have seen in resent times. The end of this match was the best part. Considering bigger matches on the wait the match pace was little slower taking almost 14 minutes which was equal to the 7 match ladder match. I will rate this match as ***1/2/5. 0.5 stars for the RKO.

HHH vs Sting (No disqualification)

Winner - HHH

This was arguably the most awaited match of this Wrestlemania and It lived upto its hype, Not because of the wrestling between the two superstars but because of the interference that occurred during the entire course of the match.The match started with regular arm locking and technical show off by both the wrestlers. With sting dominating during the starting few minutes of the match. Momentum shifted towards HHH when sting tried to stinger splash HHH on the barricade outside the ring. HHH then irish wiped Sting on the steel steps leaving bruises under Sting's left arm. Once inside the momentum again shifted towards Sting when he delivered the stinger splash inside the ring and set the stage for scorpion lock. Suddenly the DX music is played and here came Xpac, Road Dogg, and Billy Gunn entering the ring and taking Sting down. You could never guess who came for Sting's rescue, His long term rivals in WCW the NWO members - Stock Hall, Kevin Nash, and Hollywood Hulk Hogan, They all took turns to beat the DX members and also got some beating from them. In between Sting and HHH get armed with their symbolic sledge hammer and baseball bat. With Sting breaking the sledge hammer into two with his baseball bat and kicking out an pedigree stage was set for his victory. But this story line had more to offer. With sting going for another scorpion lock Shawn Michaels come to rescue of his old friend  HHH, Hitting Sting with Sweet chin music. HHH hits sting with the broken upper part of the sledge hammer and steals the victory. This match was the best match of wrestlemania 31 due to the shear presence of the superstar line-up. After this much hype the story line should had let Sting to be winner. But as WWE never lets WCW superstars win crucial matches in there most famed pay per views like the case of Rock vs Booker T were rock defeated Booker T to save Raw, In another instance Rock vs Hogan, Where Hogan was defeated. Any how this defeat may lead the story line towards Sting having self doubts as is The Undertaker which will finally lead to the Sting vs The Undertaker match in wrestlemania 32. But not before The Undertake deals with Brock Lesnar.(read last match review to know more). The match was over all a HIT and people chanting THIS IS AWESOME,,,,, truly it was I will go with ****/5.
